Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Nyongaki ("we", "the platform") handles personal data of sellers who hold an account and of buyers who complete a purchase through a checkout page hosted on this platform.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials managed by our provider.
  • Product and store data submitted by sellers.
  • Order data: buyer name, email, purchased product, amount, currency and payment status.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and campaign parameters (UTMs).

We do not store card numbers or banking credentials. Payment details are entered on the payment provider's own secure pages.

3. How we use data

  • To process orders and deliver purchased digital products.
  • To send transactional emails such as purchase confirmations and delivery links.
  • To show sellers their sales, revenue and customer reports.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share the minimum data required with the services that make the platform work: payment providers (to process transactions), our database and hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and analytics or advertising tools that a seller chooses to connect to their own account. We do not sell personal data.

5. Cookies and tracking

Checkout pages may load tracking scripts configured by the seller, such as Meta Pixel or UTM-based analytics, to measure campaign performance. These tools may set cookies or identifiers in the buyer's browser.

6. Retention

Order and account records are kept for as long as the account is active and afterwards for the period required for accounting, tax and legal obligations.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Requests are answered within a reasonable period after we verify your identity.

8. Security

Data is stored in a managed database with row-level access rules, transmitted over encrypted connections, and payment credentials are used only on the server side, never in the browser.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

10. Contact

For privacy requests, contact the platform owner through the channel provided with your account or your purchase confirmation email.
